Startup Weekend Twin Citiesis coming back to Minnesota the weekend of February 10, 11 & 12 at the U of M Carlson School of Management.

Get together in teams to make, do and create:

Startup Weekend is an intense 54 hour event which focuses on developing a web or mobile application over the course of a weekend. The gathering brings together people with different skillsets – primarily software developers, graphic designers and business people – to build products and form a credible commercial case around them.

The Seattle-based nonprofit organization, which is powered by Kauffman Foundation and recently signed a partnership with Google, has supported 100′s of events around the globe.  February’s event will be the third encounter for Minnesota; startups like QONQR, Rock Your Block and Deals.by are a just a few examples of what’s possible.

Registration is capped at the first 50 & limited to 20 “non-technical” participants. Early bird rates are good through Jan 10 ($15 off) and students are eligible for a 50% discount. Tickets include food & beverage throughout the event.

Hi. I’m disappointed that I missed getting registered for this! Do you know when the next one will be held? Thanks!

Hi Jack, there are still tickets remaining for technical participation; there may be more non-technical tickets released, so stay tuned. No – we don’t know when the next one will be held.

    Cheers,

    Jeff
